Lesson Guidelines & Terms of Engagement
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a forfeited session.
Rescheduling Limits:
– If you have 8 lessons per month: You may reschedule up to 2 sessions.
– If you have 4 lessons per month: You may reschedule 1 session.
Rescheduled sessions must be completed within the same month. Lessons do not roll over to the next month under any circumstances. It is your initiative to schedule your make up lesson with the instructor.Respectful Communication: A respectful, professional tone is expected at all times. Rudeness, hostility, or disrespect will result in immediate termination of lessons.
Punctuality: Please be on time as much as you can. Due to class timings, sessions will not be extended for late arrivals.
Preparedness: Come ready to participate, and have fun with assignments or homework completed. Even if uncompleted, please still show up to class. The goal is to speak with your native instructor in order to improve your English.
Payment Terms: Payment must be made in advance or according to our agreed schedule. Lessons may be paused for non-payment.
Communication Boundaries: Lesson-related communication only. I’m available during agreed working hours.
Mutual Right to End Lessons: Either party may end the collaboration with notice. A minimum of two weeks or a maximum of one month notice is required.
Instructor’s Sole Right to End Lessons: The Instructor reserves the sole right to stop lessons if boundaries are crossed or if the learning environment becomes hostile, unproductive or uncomfortable.
Confidentiality: Session content and communication are confidential and must not be shared without consent.
Zero Tolerance for Harassment or Hate Speech: Any form of manipulation, disrespect, hate speech, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of our working relationship.
Refunds 1: Once studies begin, there are no refunds
Refunds 2: Refunds are only extended up to 24 hours after payment for new students. As we begin preparation for all clients within 24 hours of agreeing to study, once 24 hours have passed, no refund will be granted.
Refunds 3: For returning/regular students, please give us notice when you desire to end your studies. We request a notice period of maximum 1 month or two week notice minimum.
